Dec 2022I had a huge midline hernia and needed it repaired along with a complete abdominal wall reconstruction. My abdomen was unsightly and huge! Over the past 15 years I have had three procedures done by Dr. Toledo . Each experience was more than I could have dreamed and I was extremely pleased with the out come of each procedure . Dr.Toledo changed my life. He is the best. The first procedure in 2005 at age 48 was , after three nine pound plus babies and much weight gain and loss, was a much needed tummy tuck and breast lift. Even though there was so much loose abdominal skin my incision scar was minimal and the surgery transformed my life and the way I felt about myself. Three years later at age 52 after more weight loss I felt the need to address the loose skin on my neck and face. The care, compassion and understanding shown to me was the best anyone could receive. I only received compliments on how wonderful my skin looked or that I did not look my age. The facelift allowed me to age well. 12 years later, as gravity will do, I felt it was time for a lower mini lift. 5 weeks after surgery I could not be more pleased. I recently had a tummy tuck and it was one of the best decisions I ever made. Dr. Toledo was able to help me for the first time in my life actually to have a flat stomach. I had 2 large babies that stretched out my abdominal muscles creating what's called diastasis recti. Due to this my muscles separated and wouldn't go back together. This caused back pain, poor posture & an undesirable look to my belly. Dr. Toledo was able to remove excess skin as well as tighten my abdominal muscles back together. I went to a few plastic surgeons for consultations for breast implant replacement surgery. I thought I had found the right doctor until I met Dr. Toledo. He immediately gave me a feeling of trust and I knew I was in good hands. During the consultation, I noticed that he is not only a surgeon, but he is a true ARTIST! I told him what I wanted and he gave me his professional and honest opinion, which I did not get from the other doctors and I truly appreciated it. Since my surgery, I LOVE the results and am scheduling an abdominoplasty surgery to correct my abdomen after having 2 kids. I am normally fearful or surgery and especially pain but I know I am in good hands with Dr. Toledo and I am confident in his work and his care. After reading some of the reviews, I'm surprised that some people were offended at his sense of humor. He can be brutally honest, which is something that I appreciate and did not get from the other surgeons. Happy Surgical Nurse Since 1995 - Dallas, TX - did my breast augmentation and rhinoplasty in 1995 and I am still completely happy today. I have been a surgical nurse for over 20 years and have seen it all. Dr. Toledo is the best plastic surgeon. His results are by far better than the other surgeons I have worked with. I have recommended many friends and family to him. I completely trust and respect his skill. His staff is very helpful and always nice. There is a happy, warm vibe there. Updated on 6 Sep 2016: After writing my last review about Dr. Toledo I decided to go in and talk to him about a tummy tuck. As you can read in my last entry I'm a nurse who had a rhinoplasty/breast augmentation back in 1995 and I'm still very happy with my results. My life moved forward, I got married and had 3 wonderful kids. I love them but not what they did to me belly. I had a ton of stretch marks under my belly button and a pooch. So I went back Dr. Toledo for my tummy tuck and umbilical hernia repair in July. Two days after surgery I removed my bandages and WOW my belly was SO FLAT and my belly button is perfectly round. It took about 10 days to get back to work at the hospital. He told me a could work out again at 4 weeks but I'm not sure about that yet. The first 4 days were the worst. I was really sore but that was probably the hernia repair. We stitches and drain came out 6 days after the surgery and we went out to dinner that night to celebrate. I'm very happy I went back to Dr. Toledo. It was nice to see the same staff throughout the years. I had my last baby in 2010 and should have not waited to get it done. I work with other plastic surgeons in Dallas so I'm not able to post my before/afters. More

I can't even begin to put into words how amazing my experience has been with Dr. Toledo. I recently had a tummy tuck, and my results are beyond what I could have imagined. I previously had 3 C-sections, and I had a lot to be repaired. I am 7 weeks out from my surgery, and I'm still amazed every time I see my stomach. I never thought it could look "normal" again. Dr. Toledo and his staff made me feel comfortable every time I was in the office. They also fully informed me of everything that I could possibly need to know. I went to Dr. Toledo at the recommendation of a friend. I had a hernia repair and abdominoplasty a year ago with another surgeon in another state and after complications was unhappy with my results. Dr. Toledo and his staff were warm, welcoming and professional. Dr. Toledo performed a mini tummy tuck and liposuction on me and I am ecstatic with the results!! I had my surgery just 1 week ago and I feel great!! After my last procedure I had a pooch and a horrible looking scar. Dr. Toledo told me he could improve it but did not guarantee it would be perfect. He and I both agree that it is better than expected and is Perfect!! More

Wonderful doctor and staff! I would highly recommend him to family and friends. Dr. Toledo is very straight forward. If you like things sugar coated then he may not be the doctor for you. He has a dry and witty sense of humor which some may not get or appreciate. I found him humorous and charming! My tummy tuck looks amazing. I am 46 and now have abs that look like a 20 year old!! Patient - I loved Dr. Toledo! After pregnancy I was left with extra loose/extra skin and no amount of exercise helped. I finally decided to have abdominoplasty (tummy tuck) and am so happy I did!
