Dallas Texas Woman Treated with Facelift, Brow Lift, Lower Bleph & Dermabrasion

This 65 year old female from South Texas presented to Dr. George A. Toledo and the Highland Park Plastic Surgery Center for facial rejuvenation surgery. She desired to look younger, like she did in her 40’s, if possible, but with a natural, nonoperated appearance. Every aspect of her face and neck were addressed with surgery. Her forehead and brow complex was lifted with a coronal forehead lift, which eliminated the corrugator frown lines and the transverse lines across the forehead. She underwent an upper and lower blepharoplasty, removing the excess fat in the lower lids and excess skin in the upper lids. A face and neck lift was performed in two-layers. Care was taken to reposition the facial neck muscles in one layer, to de-fat the neck both below and above the platysma muscle, and to arrange the platysma muscle in the neck to give her a tight neck/chin angle. The excess fat in the face was treated with careful removal of Bichat’s fat pads in the lower cheeks. The final touch was dermabrasion to the upper lip wrinkles. This out of town patient’s postoperative photos were taken only 3 weeks after surgery because we were concerned she would not be able to return to our office as frequently as we would like.
