Facial Rejuvenation with Dermal Fat Grafting and Fat Injections

Hello. This is Dr. George Toledo from the Highland Park Plastic Surgery Center in Dallas, Texas. This educational video illustrates my technique for facial rejuvenation, primarily focusing on dermal fat grafting and fat injections for volume restoration. Observing these before and after photos, it is obvious this 58 year old lady underwent a full face and neck lift as well as a coronal forehead lift. These surgeries allow surgeons the exposure needed to actually place dermal fat grafts under your skin when volume restoration is desired.

The reason we obtain such a natural, rejuvenated, youthful appearance is due to the fat transfers to the malar cheek region, to the brow orbital rim areas, as well as to the temples. These grafts are more predictable than injecting fat with up to a 70 to 90% survival rate. These patient's lips were augmented with dermal grafts, which is the underlying layer of your own skin.
